Counting 1,2,3…

Le-Ann is counting her numbers again. Now she can count from 1 up to 10. But then when she count from 11 till 14 then she skip 2 numbers to 17 till 20. Aiyor … teach her so many times still like that. I think every night must have at least 1 hour teaching her this. Ee-Thern also start counting like his Cheh Cheh.

But I think she still has the problem on pronouncing the words. Wah, like masuk angin only.

Hi Sue, think she has a bit of difficulty in pronoucing “t” “th” “f” “s”… if don’t correct her now, the “cuteness” will become your “madness” and “worriness”…

Ya she can’t pronounce it correctly. I am teaching her everyday to pronounce it properly but still I find it hard. Do you think anything wrong with her tongue ?

Hi Sue, is true don’t stress her but can’t leave things as it is because it won’t get better “unattended”. is she “short tongue”?

maybe you can get advise from doctor or try this : get her to “lossen her tongue” by just pronouncing the “f”, “t” “s”,etc, sound 1st then follow by five, four,… another way is for her to learn phonic (if she don’t want to attend class then just let her listen or watch vcd on phonic).

    hope will help.

We did give her learn phonic. But lets see how in a few months time. If still the same I am going to consult her padeatrician d.
