We Love Pizzas…. With Maggi Bolognaise Sauce

My kids love pizza a lot. Super like X 3. Same as me and hubby. All of us love pizza. But I just realized for a family of 4, dine out for pizza is super expensive. A pizza dinner can cost us close to RM100. I was counting the other day with hubby, if we wanted to have a pizza dinner, I think can only plan once a month. But if I make myself at home with the RM100, wah my kids can have pizza everyday for. Eat till you drop. So making your own is still far more cheaper but it is a total different environment to enjoy the dinner.

When I told my kids we are going to have pizza for lunch and dinner, they are so happy. As you know my growing up little girl, refused or wouldn’t allowed me to take her picture and post in my blog anymore. She will get mad if she see it. But her mood is good today. When I took the food shots she even said ” Mommy, you wan to take my picture?”. Wah, what a sudden change? Must see her mood at times.

Whenever I make pizza, kids will be happy because they also bake along with me. What I usually did is I will prepare the pizza dough, and all the ingredients ie. chicken chunks, sausages, bolognaise sauce, pineapple, mushroom and cheese, and the kids will make their own pizza with their own choice of pizza toppings. Its fun thought and you get to have the bonding with your kids cooking along with you.

For the sauce base,  I used Maggi Bolognaise Sauce and just modified the recipe at bit. Get the kids to spread the pizzas base with the sauce then add on their favourite toppings and loads it with lots of cheese.

My girl is helping me out in the kitchen. She really grown up a lot. Hardly can post her picture up on my blog but yesterday I got her permission to do that. :)

The pizza dough which I prepared by using my THERMOMIX in my kitchen. No kneading with my hands, and the machine solely did the job for me in minutes.

Two types of pizzas. Hawaiian Chicken & Mushroom Basil Pizza for lunch.

I am a Maggi fans because I find that Maggi has lots of great innovation products. To named it a few… Maggi Cukup Rasa, Maggi recipe mixes like the Bolognaise Sauce I used for my pizza, their Maggi sauces range i.e tomatoes, chillies and oysters sauce has been part of my ingredients list in my kitchen and it certainly makes my cooking more memorable for my family.

After baking, the kids couldn’t wait for it to cool down. And started to eat the piping hot pizzas.

One last bite from me. Yummy!

For this coming holiday season, plan a  day and start cooking out with your kids. It is certainly a fun mother and kids cooking activities at home. Check out the recipe!
