Sunday Makan-Makan : Pan Mee

pan-mee.jpg

Its Sunday Makan-Makan time again at Ah Mah’s house. Last Sunday, my cousin was here and we were talking with my Ah Kors where is the best Pan Mee in town.  All of us are Pan Mee lovers and I can eat Pan Mee everyday without getting bored of it. My cousin A, suggested to cook on last Sunday and again we had  Pan Mee party at Ah Mah’s house  last Sunday. It was fun as all ladies helping out in the kitchen to cook Pan Mee.

Mom brought back the noodles machine and we used that to make the Pan Mee but I still prefer the ‘mit’ one.  I think the most important thing for a bowl of delicious Pan Mee is all lies on the soup. Dad told me tat the soup is not only ikan bilis soup but it is added with pork ribs during the boiling process. Most of the Pan Mee we ate outside is quite plain and simple. It is added with fried minced pork with wood’s ear fungus, vegetables, and crispy ikan bilis. Some even added with a soft boiled egg.

We had great time of eating and chatting last Sunday. I had two bowls of it and eaten with the hot and spicy chilli padi. Mmmm…really syiok!Looking forward for our next makan-makan session in the coming weeks again.
